First, lemme start off this post with 2 words: Crypto ROCKS! After reading the book, Digital Fortress, by Dan Brown, I so wanna learn cryptography. But the info in the book isn't quite accurate sometimes, nevertheless, it is still a great read, and a great inspiration for the aspiring hacker (or rather, just another script kiddie). Well, the storyline is pretty cool, I like the character Susan so much, wish my math is half as good as hers...and David too....he rocks. Ever seen guy who proposes so many times? Yea...David did....I was like....how many times do u wanna get married to the same person? Lol....but he still rocks. It's kinda like a bit of a geeky lovestory combined with a thriller. One thing tha I realised is that cryptography is absolutely necessary in hacking, something that I had happily ignored for the past few months when I had started learnin hacking. I have so much more to learn....but right now, nothing matters more to me than staying in my school, graduation and my lifelong dream of being a hacker who does good. Why am I saying this? Cuz one guy told me straight in my face: Is there someone that says that I am a hacker, and says: I am going to use hacking to do good? My answer is: Yes there is, and I am going to prove to you that I will use hacking to do good. And not just that, I'm gonna be the best that I can be, and if I have the opportunity, well, win the annual DEFCON competition?.....but that's no doubt gonna be a really difficult task. Cuz my teacher told me, How does a teacher know if he/she is a good teacher? Look at your students and what they have become... I agree, and that is another good reason for me to work hard. In fact, I'm starting to understand what my teacher has been telling me all these while. Yes, I know I'm slow...I talked to her over lunch yesterday and it took me 25 hrs plus to understand what she meant. At first I thought I knew what it meant..but later it dawned on me that I didn't. So I thought throuh wha she said to me for quite sometime.... Sometimes, you need to experience it, before you realise what it is. But anyway, thanks a lot for your advice, I really appreciate it a lot.
