Today, I was on my way home, when I heard something...well rather interesting. Thre were 4 young female teachers seated in the same row of seats as I did, chattering rather loudly throught the journey. Lemme just give you an exerpt of their conversation:

A: Normal Acad students are so lazy....always dun hand up homewrok, dun pay attention in class, not inspired to work hard at all, so useless...
B: Ya...so lazy....*sigh*
A: Today go into class dun feel like teaching, so I wrote some examples on the board and ask them to do worksheet.
B: Aiyah....just give worksheet, do marking in class can already.
C: Ya lor, where got voice to teach...teach until no voice already...
D: Ya...so sickening, can't they just work hard for once...their exams coming already liao...

*End of exerpt*

Now, what does this tell you. I as a student for one, would NOT like to have such teachers. Thankfully, all the teachers in my school are not like that. Well, first, I hate it when teachers blame the students for their own shortcomings. The students are not inspired...who's the one who didn't inspire them? I'm not suprised that the students react this way....after all the teachers are just as bad right? You don't even teach, you just throw work to the students to do? What will they learn? Are you really there because you have the passion in teaching or you just want the money? A great teacher is one who inspires...are you one? Ask yourself. When I was listening to their conversation, I was too angry to say anything...had a good mind to tell them off. But I had homework to rush. Yes...there ARE teachers who DO inspire...so far I've been fortunate enough to meet a couple of them. Ok fine...maybe asking every teacher to be a great teacher is too much...but can't you even be a good teacher and at least TEACH??? And yet you still have the cheek to say all this...even if you want to be lazy, don't insult your students and put the blame on them...that's the very least you can do. Anyway, lemme just be happy that I don't get such horible teachers and I hope I won't have to meet any in the future.
